AM I TOO OLD FOR A COLORED LINER?

I read an article in Prevention magazine that I found interesting and I wanted to share it with you. Since I am over 40 and have a birthday this month, I have been thinking about my age, not to mention crying! lol! Just kidding! I like to wear bright bold colors even at my age, but many ladies have emailed me with questions about toning down their makeup as they age…and I say ABSOLUTELY NOT! Women our age feel they can only wear the classic black eyeliner. You are not too old to carry off a trendy colored one!!!
Colored liners offer a simple way to brighten dull skin when you in your 40′s. But going the more sophisticated route works best. For example, instead of bright shades, choose richer colors such as eggplant, olive, or navy. Line your top lids for daytime wear; and for drama, line rim under your lower lash line. Keep in mind that you need to balance the look with a soft neutral shadow and gloss in a shade similar to your natural lip color (for most women, this is a pinkish brown hue).
